I Love Star Trek!      It's fun to try to also pick apart the shows,

nobody's perfect and Star Trek has it's share of - oops - Bloopers!

If you pay close attention, I am sure you can find some too

next time you watch!    Look for these goofy goofs!!!

This is for The Next Generation..which is my Favorite of all series.

From the very first episode..Encounter at Farpoint

It's explained that everything manufactured inside the holodeck cannot exist outside the holodeck. Yet when Wesley falls in the water, then leaves, the holodeck, he is still WET!!!! (unless he sure sweated allot)

In the episode...Ethics

When Worf has his accident and the barrels fall.. the lid pops off of one, but when Geordi rushes over, the lid is already back on the barrel.

In the episode... Ship in a Bottle

Geordi and Data are in the holodeck, enjoying a program. Geordi decided to pause and says "freeze program", but yet the clock and fireplace were both still continuing, while everything else stood still.   (hmmm who's doing the editing?)

In the episode...Up the Long Ladder

When they transport the Bringloidi to the ship, scattered bits of hay also appears. In no other transport, did the ground material transport with the living beings being beam except if they were actually holding it.    What a mess!

In the episode.... Skin of Evil

When Armus covers Riker, the away team runs over to the edge of the oily slick, and if you look carefully Geordi's phaser just falls off his belt. oopsie...bad velcro!

In the episode...Too Short a Season

Seems the ship is running backwards...normally if you would notice, from Picard's window, the stars move left to right, but in this episode they are moving right to left.. some fancy driving there...wow!

In the episode... The Battle

Troi informs Picard that she is sensing feelings of deceit coming from Bok. But in other episodes,  it was made clear that Betazoids cannot sense the thoughts from a Ferengi.  Someone needs to get he facts straight.

In the episode...Cost of Living

Seems Picard had been temporarily demoted! As he and Data enter the turbo lift he has only 3 buttons on his collar, that's a Commander not Captain's rank.....but when he exits the turbolift he has his 4 buttons, maybe one popped off and he found it on the floor?

In the episode...Time's Arrow

The away team is in a cavern, and naturally there is an echo when they speak, but when Data talks to them on the communicator from the ship, seems he has caught a contagious echo..or just having some fun mincing them!

In the episode.... Relics

The ship Jenolan must use it's shields to hold the door of the sphere open.  It is stuck there, so Gordi and Scotty are beamed off the ship to the Enterprise. So what happened to, you can't use the transporter beam when the shields are raised? ooopsie...where's that rule book?

In the episode...Q Who

Wesley is order to "Stop the ship" and he replies that the ship  has stopped. Yet when the camera swings around at Q, the stars are moving.

There are Bloopers in almost every episode if you watch carefully!! No kidding!

I think they may realize it but leave it in there.....just for fun, some are just because

they try to save money and re-use props, others..well they can't get the facts straight.

And here's just a couple more of some good blunder bloopers..get this.....

Data is supposed to have the inability to speak with contractions, unlike his brother Lore unless he has the emotion chip..yet he does "slip up" a number of times...here's a couple:

He says "it's me" in We'll Always have Paris and he says "I'm Fine" in Datalore.

The same backdrop painting was used in several episodes; Angel One, Samaritan Snare, First Contact and in The Mind's Eye. They just used various minor lighting etc. to disguise it.

Spot, Data's cat, is sometimes a male and sometimes a female.

Why is it in some episodes the crew must "tap" their badges to begin communication and then other times they jus start speaking? Unless they just left them on continuously, which I  doubt.

Many other objects have left the holodeck, a snowball, lipstick etc. ooops.

The same animation scene with the space station is used repeatedly, although the story says they are different ones, they are also orbiting the same identical planet!  in Ensign Rio, Remember Me,  and in episode 11001001.
