Sheba, was our "replacement kitten" for when we lost OJ
The owner was worried about Sheba, because she did not take
to wanting to be weaned and wouldn't drink anything or eat
She had a minor bladder infection, so we used an eye dropper
top make sure she got the water she needed, which eventually
cleared up and she began to eat on her own. Some kittens just
don't want to give up Mama, so at weaning time, make sure all
kittens are getting some nutrition and plenty of fluids.
Sheba got quite attached to Pooh Bear. She would follow her around
play with her and even take naps with her. Sheba really missed Pooh
when she passed away just last year, and now cuddles with this
"look alike" stuffed animal, for her substitute friend.
Yes Sheba, we all miss Pooh Bear, very, very Much
a special kind of dog, that loved all animals and humans
she'd tolerate even the roughest kids, and even helped
"babysitting" a few kittens now and then.
