Furballs...Fuzzy Kittens

This is Morris. Very sweet kitten, again stray. A very wild stray
She did not trust humans at all. It took a while to gain her trust, before we
could bring her in, and to nourish her and find her a new home.

Cute little Domino! Notice the radar ears, we couldn't resist her.
She kept getting re-occurring sores and a few years later we found she had
feline leukemia. At that time, there were no vaccinations. You should get your
kitten tested these days, early death can be prevented

This is P.J. which stands for Popcorn Jumper. She hopped instead of
walking half the time, a very silly kitty! She was born in an old empty
doghouse. The mother attempted to relocate her kittens, but it was getting dark
before she got to the last one, and left poor little PJ, who we rescued and raised.

PJ was a wonderful independent type cat. But one night poor
PJ became "target practice" during a late night road race
I know it's hard to keep some cats indoors.. but try to at
least for the night, it's for their own good.

OJ, at age 6, was attacked by a Pitbull a couple of years ago and killed.
The vicious dog was loose..and what was worse, was.. that there were small children
outside, who watched horrified at the attack. Important..get to know your neighborhood!
Find out what kinds of pets they own, and if they leave their dogs run loose..
keep your cat IN, cats really don't stand a chance against a big dog.
We'll always miss OJ

Domino lived to age 4, which was considered quite long for a cat with Leukemia
Another symptom of the illness, is being constantly cold, always sitting by a heater.
Keep an eye on your cat's daily habits, so you will get to know any unusual changes
that may signal you, that there is something wrong. How else are they going to tell you?
We know, there's a place in Heaven for our pets. We'll see them again, someday

OJ would go to Pooh Bear and nurse. Obviously all he got was a mouth full
of fur..but it gave him comfort, and Pooh, being a great dog, didn't mind.

Even when OJ was full grown, he still felt the need to go to Pooh Bear.
Now that's a Big baby! Pooh was spayed and couldn't have puppies, so I
guess she was happy raising kittens, as you'll see, there were more Cocker Kittens!

Now talk about Old..this is Oreo. We adopted her from the animal shelter. She was on her
"last day" before being put to sleep. We couldn't resist her beautiful features and the
way she rubbed against you..as if to say.."Please take me home...I can be a great house cat"
Oreo still lives with us today at age 21..and that's in actual Human years! A great cat she is.
