My friends' litter of kittens..kittens have a difficult time regulating their body heat until about 6 weeks old so if taken from their mother early must have a heat source a pet store took these in..don't give up..and drop off there are always homes from kittens to be found
We named this stray: China, because she was as delicate as fine china and had slanty eyes..she found a good home If you don't plan to find good homes for kittens, get your cat spayed Kittens feel, pain, hunger, and sadness..they are living creatures, not throw-aways
This is Paws. He was born with an extra toe on each front paw.Sometimes this can cause problems and must be removed..but not always an unusual kitten, born from a stray that was pregnant when we found her Paws and Mama now has a happy home
Oreo, grown adult cat..and O.J. (Oreo Junior).. Funny how cats can come in "carbon copies"! We kept them both, Oreo is still with us at age 20. And that's in human years..she still is doing very well
A close up of O.J., the litter was found under a pile of spare tires, siblings all found nice homes Kittens are naturally curious and will get into life threatening situations, so kitten proof your home, just as you would child proof one for a toddler. OJ took a liking to Pooh Bear..like I said OJ was weird, since when does a Cocker Spaniel look like a cat?
This is Junior. She was very small and lonely, and a big baby. She cried "meuwed" allot..to keep her company we gave her a stuffed "pound purry" for a friend..she later grew up to be one of the toughest cats you ever met, still with us at a Fysty age 8
Another shot at O.J. He was so cute. Had a personality allot like that of the "ragdoll" cat breed, OJ just loved to be hugged and cuddled and didn't fuss a bit about it
This is Kelly. A poor drop off. Sickly and skinny she was. She has a comfy new home. Kittens are Not equipped to lived alone "in the wild" and don't have a fighting chance when they are strays.
Meet Shilo. Neighborhood children witnessed her, being tossed out a car window and landing on her head. Unfortunately the children didn't know to get a license number. Shilo's head wound has since healed and has been adopted.
When Fogy came to us, we thought he was blind..because he walked in circles We later found out from the vet..that he was an extremely old cat, who had no teeth, bad cataracts, was senile and had suffered from a high fever from a bad cold that he had caught, after we found him staggering around all covered in mud on a rainy cold day: he was an "old Fogy" who later found his real home, from where he had wandered away from. Be very protective over your Older Cat..they too can suffer from arthritis, cataracts and memory loss, as well being susceptible to phenomena
