Why are we such sticklers about wanting credit for our images on your pages?? I have spent thousands and thousands of hours creating this site, and most of that time was spent doing the graphics. Creating graphics is very time-consuming, and if people don't do graphics, they often have no idea how much work they are. Besides, we want everyone to be able to find us, and your links help that happen! If you don't give proper credit on each page for the images you've taken from another site, someone viewing your site and looking for copyright notices, credits, wouldn't see any of those things. That person would then assume it was just fine to take the images on your page. Did you ever stop to think that, by omission, you're saying the images on your page are yours and that you don't care if others use them? This site explains beautifully why it's a very bad idea to have one "credits" page rather than putting credit on each page you use the graphics on (3 pages). Most of the graphics on Fuzzy Faces' Free Doggy Graphics are original designs by us which means they are also, of course, copyrighted by us. Our images are free for use on non-profit web pages and personal homepages. Our free graphics are *not* to be used on commercial sites, puppy mill sites or by anyone in the puppy mill chain (this would include brokers, auction houses, retail outlets that sell puppies, etc.), by web page developers, or on "gallery" type sites (sites that have free graphics to download). We do not want any sites that are x-rated, are linked to x-rated sites, or sites that we deem to be inappropriate for these sorts of reasons to use our graphics. These images are not to be used in any graphics collections for sale (CD-Roms, etc.). If you've got any questions about any of this, please email us. These graphics are ***only*** to be used in building web pages within the parameters of our "rules". For any other usage, please email us for permission. Other usage means for publications of any kind, using our artwork to create your own designs on or off the Web, and any other usage that is non-Web. We will charge a nominal fee for our images to be used for any usage other than what is listed in the above two paragraphs. The charge will be $10.00 U.S. for one image or $25.00 U.S. for multiple images. This would apply to *all* commercial use of our images on or off the Web and certain other usages on or off the Web. Please email us and let us know what you would like to use our images for. We do, btw, take Discover, Master Card, and Visa. Dog club newsletters, as always, will be able to have use of our images for free in most cases, as long as you list our credit on each page the images appear on, but you must contact us for permission (and how we'd like the credit to read) as you have done in the past. We deem these publications to be for the good of the dog world and will support you as best we can. Our graphics are ***not*** to be altered in *any* way (this means recoloring, resizing an image, etc.). They are to be used as they are and in no other way. You may "mirror" the image if you wish, though, as long as you do not alter it in any other way. If you have any questions about this, please email us. ***WARNING #1*** Please *DO NOT* link directly to the individual graphics on our Free Doggy Graphics pages, because the extra bandwidth used could wind up costing us a lot of extra money. No one likes to have other people use their bandwidth. It's called "stealing bandwidth" for a reason... Download the graphics you wish to use and then upload them to your ISP (server). Anything on our commercial site, Fuzzy Faces, is also copyrighted by us and is strictly off limits. We worked long and hard to make some very unique graphics for Fuzzy Faces. We want to keep Fuzzy Faces unique, so do not steal the images from that site. We would also love to hear from you if you use our graphics on your site. You may submit your URL for inclusion on our "Web Sites That Are Using Our Graphics" on this page. (This may take me a while to do certain times of the year as I travel so much.
